Ivy has stomach aches and tears before school on most mornings.

Between waking up and leaving the house.

Three or four mornings a week.
What usually happens immediately before it?
She asks who will pick her up and whether her friend will be there.
How does your child respond?
She becomes quiet, holds my hand tightly and asks to stay home.
What have you already tried?
Talking about the school day the night before, a photo of me in her bag.
What worries you most about this situation?
That she is anxious and hiding how she really feels.
